The Greek School of Glasgow is based within the Cathedral's premises.
The overall responsibility of the school is with the Community Board members Messrs Cavoura and Pitticas.
In addition to the Greek language, pupils are also taught religious history, the history of Greece and Cyprus and also elements of geography of these two countries. Able pupils may take lessons leading to the Greek Certificate of Attainment qualification (Ellinomathia), awarded by the Centre for the Greek Language at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. These examinations are held in May every year and as the School is an accredited examination centre, it welcomes external candidates too.
