The Greek School of Glasgow is based within the Cathedral's premises.
The overall responsibility of the school is with the Community Board members Messrs Cavoura and Pitticas.
In addition to the Greek language, pupils are also taught religious history,
the history of Greece and Cyprus and also elements of geography of these two
countries. Pupils are normally presented for the GCSE examinations in Modern
Greek, while the most able ones may take lessons leading to the Greek State
Acknowledged Language qualification (Ellinomathia). |
